At the meeting, Lo Kun-Chuan, Chairman of Johnson Health Tech, said the company has been operating in the fitness equipment industry for 50 years. From a business founded by just three members, the Group has grown into a global enterprise with more than 10,000 employees, operations in 38 countries, 46 subsidiaries and seven manufacturing plants worldwide.

In Viet Nam, Johnson Health Tech invested in a manufacturing facility at Thuan Thanh II Industrial Park in 2019. Covering 10 hectares with total investment of USD 50 million, the plant generates annual revenue of around USD 60 million.
Building on the success of its first project, the Group has developed its second plant at Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park on a 14-hectare site with total investment exceeding VND 1.788 trillion. Designed with an annual production capacity of approximately 300,000 products, the new facility will expand the Group’s manufacturing and assembly capacity for fitness equipment while strengthening its export operations in Viet Nam.
Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman Pham Van Thinh reaffirmed that Bac Ninh always stands alongside businesses, considering their success as the province’s own success. As Bac Ninh prepares to become a centrally governed city, the province will continue to promote high-tech industrial development, innovation, infrastructure improvement, a more attractive investment environment and stronger support for businesses.

Commending Johnson Health Tech for completing its second plant in less than one year after construction began, he acknowledged the effective coordination between the company and provincial authorities throughout the project’s implementation. He also expressed hope that the Group would maximize the project’s efficiency, strengthen cooperation with domestic enterprises and make greater contributions to the province’s socio-economic development, while reaffirming the province’s commitment to creating favorable conditions for the company’s long-term growth.
Johnson Health Tech’s leadership affirmed that Viet Nam, particularly Bac Ninh, plays a strategic role in the Group’s global development. The company plans to train 300–400 core engineers and invest in facilities serving training, accommodation and long-term operations in the province.
The Group’s Chairman added that bringing the next generation of the founding family to explore Bac Ninh’s investment and manufacturing environment reflects the company’s long-term commitment and sustainable investment strategy in Viet Nam.

On the same day, Johnson Health Tech officially inaugurated its second manufacturing plant at Thuan Thanh I Industrial Park, with Giza Viet Nam serving as the EPC contractor.
