On the afternoon of April 3, 2026, the Provincial People’s Committee organized a working session with Carlsberg Vietnam Trading Limited (Carlsberg) and relevant partners to evaluate the effectiveness of activities in 2025 and the cooperation plan between Carlsberg and Nghe An province in 2026.
Attending the working session was Comrade Thai Van Thanh – Member of the Provincial Party Committee, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; alongside leaders of provincial departments, committees, and agencies.
On the side of Carlsberg Vietnam, there was Mr. Andrew Khan – General Director, Head of the working delegation, and relevant members.
At the working session with the leaders of Nghe An province, the delegation of Carlsberg Vietnam expressed their appreciation for the close companionship and cooperation of the Nghe An provincial government over the past time.
Carlsberg Vietnam affirmed that the company’s presence in the Central region in general and Nghe An province in particular does not stop at business and production activities. With a long-term vision and its role as a reliable partner, the Company actively accompanies and supports initiatives in culture, cuisine, tourism, and community, thereby contributing to preserving local identity, strengthening social cohesion, and creating a foundation for the long-term development of the region. In 2026, the key program “Evoking clean water sources for the beloved Central region” marks the eighth consecutive year of creating positive impacts. By 2025, the program has provided more than 3.3 million cubic meters of clean water to nearly 9,500 households.
In addition, Carlsberg Vietnam has continued to maintain the “Full Tet, Loving Tet” program for over a decade, bringing practical support to families in difficult circumstances. During challenging times, the business always actively stands shoulder-to-shoulder with the community. In the final months of 2025, when the Central region faced one of the most severe historical floodings, Carlsberg Vietnam promptly contributed 1.5 billion VND to disaster relief and recovery efforts in the Central region…
Not stopping at sustainable development initiatives, Carlsberg Vietnam, together with the Huda brand, continues to play an active role in the socio-cultural life of the Central region through long-term companionship with community, cultural, and sports activities. From local festivals and cultural events to grassroots sports movements, these programs contribute to nurturing regional pride and preserving the distinctive identity of the deeply sentimental Central land.
At the working session, leaders of Carlsberg Vietnam proposed cooperation contents for 2026, including: Continuing to coordinate with Nghe An Newspaper and Radio-Television Station to organize the “Humanitarian Bridge” program to support individuals/families in difficult circumstances; Coordinating with the Vietnam Fatherland Front Committee of the province to organize the distribution of Lunar New Year (Tet) gifts to poor households; Deploying the implementation of a clean water supply project for residents in several communes within the province; Coordinating to organize the Countdown Program – Welcoming the New Year 2027; Coordinating to organize the men’s football tournament competing for the Huda Cup, and the Cua Lo cross-country running race…
Looking towards the journey ahead, Carlsberg Vietnam continues to affirm its long-term commitment to the Central region as a companion and reliable partner. Speaking at the working session, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Thai Van Thanh expressed appreciation for the long-term cooperative relationship and the practical contributions of Carlsberg Vietnam to local development. Regarding the cooperation proposals, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee Thai Van Thanh assigned provincial departments and agencies to coordinate with the Company to implement the contents. At the same time, he expressed hope that the Company would have more cooperation contents so that more people in Nghe An province could benefit, ensuring local social security. Nghe An province will create the most favorable conditions for the activities of Carlsberg Vietnam to be deployed in the province.
